Certifications/Education: NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition L1, Online Trainer Academy Certified, TRX Certified, B.A. Communications (Broadcasting) Pittsburg State University Specialty/Experience: Being a former college athlete, I have always had a passion and commitment to working out and staying in shape. I help people of all ages and backgrounds, ranging from college athletes to busy moms and dads looking to build muscle or lose fat. My main goal is to help my clients reach their goals, in the smartest and most efficient way possible. I enjoy helping people follow a realistic program both in and out of the gym to help them create a sustainable lifestyle of their choice. Favorite exercise: The first one of my workout when I have the most energy. Favorite food indulgence: A thick crust pizza or a fat burrito smothered in queso. Also Chuy’s creamy jalapeno dip! What/who inspires you? Thomas Edward Brady Jr.! Watching what he has done and the way he handles himself over the last 20+ years is something that is incredible to me. It has and it continues to have a positive effect on the way I try to live my life on a daily basis. Interesting fact about you: I played college football for five years and won the 2011 National Championship. After graduating I took a job in live production for the sports network which initially brought me to Houston. I enjoy the nerdy stuff behind the camera, and I still freelance and cover the Rockets, Astros, and Dynamo!

Certifications/Education: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, Technogym Golf Performance Certification B.A. Business Administration/Marketing University of Arkansas-Little Rock Specialty/Experience: My specialty is sports performance. My training programs are centered around improving agility, quickness, rotational power, and lateral speed. I'm also well versed in plyometrics and train primarily basketball and tennis athletes. Favorite exercise: Power Clean Favorite food indulgence: Pizza and Tex-Mex Hobbies: cooking, traveling, flag football, basketball, and watching action-themed movies What/who inspires you? My inspiration comes from my Mom. She has been a teacher my entire life and often shows me that despite any struggles you may experience, there is always an opportunity to continually improve yourself and not allow the past to define your future. Interesting fact about you: I was a state champion powerlifter in high school. I've had the opportunity to work under a strength and conditioning specialist whose trained many high-profile athletes from multiple backgrounds including the NFL and MLB.

Favorite food indulgence: My favorite food is Mexican. Hobbies: I love to play golf and play with my dogs. What/who inspires you: I teach a men’s weight training class at an assisted living center with an average age of 90. Watching these guys trying to keep it going makes me happy. Interesting fact about you: I have been a trainer here at The MET for 30 years and I never thought that would be the case.

Certifications/Education: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, TRX certified, University of Houston, Lone star College Specialty/Experience: My specialty is functional strength training and hypertrophy training. I believe I can teach and coach movements and exercises in the gym that will transfer into real life activities. I like to design my workouts with some high intensity interval training (HIIT) and compound exercises. Favorite exercise: Bench Press Favorite food indulgence: Full rack of BBQ ribs with some sweet potato fries Hobbies: I like playing guitar, live sports, I love to gamble, float the river with friends and go Bowling! What/who inspires you?: My father inspires me to become a better person, I hope to one day be as successful as he is. I look up to him because he never gives up and he has overcome many obstacles. Interesting fact about you: I almost lost one of my eyes playing baseball when I was young.

Certifications/Education: NASM Certified Personal Trainer Specialty/Experience: My specialty is fat loss and muscle gain! Real simple, look good and feel good! When I was 14, I shifted my focus from being obsessed with basketball to being obsessed with the gym. My family belonged to a pretty nice gym in the suburbs of San Diego and that's where I would spend a lot of my time after school with friends. 14 years of trials and tribulations in the gym. Favorite exercise: I take pride in my ability to do 30 pull-ups in a row and I want all my clients to be able to do at least 10 wide grip pull-ups! Also, because my legs are small in my head, I always feel the need to work them, so I love squats and deadlifts. Favorite food indulgence: Anything Vietnamese! Right now my favorite Vietnamese soup is Bun Rieu Oc (crab, tomato and snail soup). Of course I love Pho Dac Biet too, I can eat that for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a midnight snack. Hobbies: Aside from working out I like to cook and travel when I can, especially to Vietnam. I just learn off YouTube how to make ethnically authentic dishes, from Indian to Mexican, to Loas and Vietnamese. I also enjoy taking my son Toolie to the dog park to play tackle with other dogs, he is a 2-year-old tri-colored American Bully.

Favorite exercise: squats, carries (suitcases, overhead). Favorite food indulgence: any Latin cuisine, but mainly Mexican. Hobbies: German cars… actually, just Mercedes AMG. Learning Spanish and playing with my son. What/who inspires you? My fascination with movement and biomechanics. Who: My wife and son. Interesting fact about you: I have lived in eight different states since I was 18. Traveled to Mexico twice before I learned any Spanish. Semi fluent in Spanish after 30 years old.

I also have experience in training, meal prep and coaching body building bikini competitors and competitive martial artists. I’m also well versed in flexibility and balance training as well as trigger point therapy and myofascial release. I am a rhythm-based Spin Instructor and have a passion for cardio, high intensity interval training (HIIT), strength endurance training and stretching. Tailoring plans to fit my clients' needs and goals is the key to results and something that's very important to me. I specialize in working with clients who are seeking weight loss, gaining strength and overall confidence. Favorite exercise: I love to sweat--period. Anything and everything to get my heart rate up! I also love a good abs and glutes workout. Your core is everything! Favorite food indulgence: Sushi--yum! I'm also gluten free and love exploring gluten free options, recipes and restaurants.

Specialty/Experience: My specialty is body recompositioning, weight loss, muscle building; helping clients with chronic aches to become pain-free through improving their mobility and customized weightlifting programs. I have experience working with clients of different fitness levels: including a 12-year old soccer players and 70+ year-old seniors. Favorite exercise: Plate Thrusters, Ukrainian Twist, Jump Rope. Favorite food indulgence: Tertyukhy (Ukrainian style potato pancakes), onion rings, peanut butter cup chocolate ice cream. Hobbies: Walking, reading, and photography. What/who inspires you? People, who can stay kind, grateful and optimistic despite adversity; see a lesson in each failure; don’t give up. Interesting fact about you: I came to the USA from Ukraine. Just 3 years ago I hated exercising. Becoming a mom made me more disciplined and inspired to start my fitness journey. At first, I was working out with the goal to lose weight, then I realized other benefits of exercising, such as improvements in energy levels, better mood, sleep, mental performance. My goal is to teach others about importance of weight training no matter of what age or gender they are.

Specialty/Experience: My specialty is muscle growth as well as weight loss through weight training. I specialize in correcting form through proper biomechanics to maximize performance and avoid injuries! I am a former bodybuilding competitor in the Men’s Physique category. I competed in 2019 at the Summer Shredding Classic here in Houston, TX! I have over 5 years of experience in the sports supplement and wellness industry, specializing in proper nutrition and healthy habits! Favorite exercise: Incline dumbbell press and chest cable fly. Favorite food indulgence: Any variation of Asian food, including sushi and stir fry! Hobbies: I love playing video games! Soccer and tennis are my life-long sports.

Certifications/Education: NASM certified personal trainer Specialty/Experience: I enjoy helping people who want to build muscle and anyone looking to build up endurance through lifting or cardio. I played soccer all my life and through college, totaling 18 years! Sports performance is a big area of interest for me as well. Favorite Exercise: Leg press and anything involving the sled. I also love cardio! Anything to get the heart rate pumping. I find that doing a movement I enjoy is a great way to get my workout started and really sets the precedent for the rest of the session. Favorite Food Indulgence: I am a sucker for some candy! Hobbies: I am currently in law school so reading mostly, but I also enjoy reading for fun along with working out and baking. What/Who inspires you? Someone that inspires me is my mom. She also played soccer and unfortunately had to have 5 knee surgeries as a result, but still makes time in her day to get at least an hour of working out in! My grandfather (who also played collegiate sports) has taught both her and I that it is all a mental game. If you go in with a negative mindset, you will perform poorly, but if you go in positively, you are going to do great! Interesting fact about you: I was a collegiate level women's soccer coach right out of college and assisted with that for 2 years with the University of St. Thomas here in Houston. Never thought it was something that I would do but I ended up loving it and miss it every day.
