This exciting Member-Guest event brings together teams of one Member and two guests for a three-man Shamble Stableford competition on the Forest Course, followed by a festive celebration at the Forest Icehouse with a Claudia’s Fajita Takeover. In the Shamble Stableford format, all players tee off, select the best-positioned ball, and then play their own ball from that location through the completion of the hole. The two best Stableford scores count toward the team’s total, with each score earning points based on performance. The event will feature a flighted competition with Gross and Net payouts. Jackpot Night Thursdays | Spin at 7 pm | Deerwood Club Feeling lucky? Three attendees are drawn from raffle tickets at arrival for a chance to spin the Jackpot Wheel. The Jackpot starts at $200 in MAC Credits and grows each Thursday (caps at $1200) until it’s won, then resets. Each Membership is limited to one Jackpot win per two-month period. The Friday before Halloween, the 49th floor becomes the scene of the crime. Dinner is served. The plot is just beginning. Follow the clues, compare theories with your table, and see if you can solve the mystery before the final reveal. Join in as much or as little as you like; no acting experience required. Halloween Howl: A Night of Frights & Fun 🎃👻 Friday, October 30 | 6:30 pm | Kingwood Country Club $44++ Adults | $28++ Kids 4–11 | Children 3 and Under Complimentary Registration Includes Dinner Buffet Get ready for a Halloween celebration that has something for everyone! Dress in your favorite costume and join us for a night of spooky surprises, festive fun, music, games and Halloween thrills throughout the Club. For the Little Ones The Magnolia and Pine Rooms will transform into a Halloween Kids Zone filled with fun and activities. Stop by the Pumpkin Patch at the Kingwood Scoreboard, then explore Trick-or-Treat stations throughout the Club. A kid-friendly, haunted trail will lead from the Kids Zone toward Lake Hole 1, while the upper Ballroom becomes a Halloween Dance Party with a DJ and dance floor. Outside, enjoy bounce houses, bubbles and s’mores, plus a DJ at the Kingwood Scoreboard to keep the Halloween fun going. For a Little More Fright Head to the Kingwood Cart Barn for Nightmare on 19th, our haunted attraction, and test your skills on the glow-in-the-dark putt-putt cemetery course on top of the Cart Barn. For the Adults Step into the Tavern Spook-easy, a Halloween-inspired speakeasy taking over the Tavern patio and bar side for the evening. Sectioned off from the rest of the restaurant, the Spook-easy is included with adult admission. Show off your Halloween spirit during the Adult Costume Contest and enjoy a festive spot to gather, sip and celebrate. Dining Enjoy a dinner buffet in the Cypress Room, with seating available in the lower Ballroom and adjacent area. Your registration includes the dinner buffet and all Halloween festivities, so make your way around the Club and enjoy the activities at your own pace.
