Black and Gold Scholarship Gala Saturday, April 25 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated® — Alpha Omicron Lambda Chapter proudly presents the Black & Gold Scholarship Gala, an elegant evening dedicated to scholarship, service, and community impact. Gathering will be esteemed Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Distinguished Community & Civic leaders, and Several Pittsburgh Football Legends including Honorary Chairman Max Starks, a Pittsburgh football legend, two-time Super Bowl champion, and Brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Join us for this memorable night in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. The evening will feature a cocktail hour from 6-7pm, which will be immediately followed by our formal gala starting at 7:06pm. During the Gala we’ll dine together with delicious dinner menu options, discounted drink specials, and a variety of bottled wine generously available for purchase from The Rivers Club. Next will be our Award Ceremony, sequentially followed by a DJ Mix and Dancing. There will also be live and silent auctions, and a 50/50 raffle during the program. Welcome Back, Brian! We’re raising a glass to a familiar face returning to the Club. After a few months away, our Food & Beverage Director and House Sommelier, Brian, is back—and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him home. Join us on April 25 for a special evening as Brian hosts an unforgettable wine dinner in the Clubhouse. Known for his passion, creativity, and a few surprises along the way, Brian will guide you through a thoughtfully curated four-course dining experience, each course paired to perfection. And true to form, expect the unexpected—he always has something up his sleeve. The evening is priced at $95++ per person, with RESERVE Wine Club members enjoying a 20% discount.
