What racquet facilities are available at Mission Hills?
Mission Hills features 49 racquet courts across hard, clay, and grass surfaces, plus 20 dedicated pickleball courts. Each facility is maintained to tournament standards and designed for players of all levels.
Do I need to be a member to access the tennis or pickleball courts?
Yes, access to all racquet facilities and programs is exclusive to club members and their guests. Membership ensures the highest level of service, court quality, and player experience.
Are lessons or clinics available?
Yes. Mission Hills offers private lessons, clinics, and group training led by our USTA-certified tennis and pickleball professionals. Programs are tailored for beginners to advanced players.
Can I reserve courts in advance?
Members can easily reserve courts online or through the Mission Hills concierge. Same-day bookings are often available, but early reservations are recommended for peak times.
Does Mission Hills host racquet sports events or tournaments?
Absolutely. The club regularly hosts USTA-recognized tournaments, social mixers, and charity events. Members also enjoy access to exclusive invitationals throughout the year.
Are racquets or equipment available for purchase or rental?
The Mission Hills pro shop offers top-of-the-line racquets, apparel, and accessories, with demo gear and restringing services available year-round.
What types of fitness classes are offered at Mission Hills?
Our group fitness schedule features a wide range of classes for all levels, from Yoga, Pilates Reformer, and Tai Chi to high-energy HIIT, Tabata, and Dance Fitness. Members can also enjoy on-demand WEXER virtual classes for added flexibility and variety.
Are personal training sessions available?
Yes. Our nationally certified personal trainers offer both private and small-group sessions tailored to your goals, whether you’re focused on strength, flexibility, balance, or overall wellness.
Does the club offer wellness or specialty training programs?
Absolutely. Members can take advantage of mobility and flexibility training, injury prevention, post-rehab conditioning, TRX, body sculpting, sports-specific training, and pre/postnatal fitness programs designed to support individual goals.
Are there spa and recovery services available?
Yes. The Mission Hills Spa, located on the lower level, offers massages, stretch sessions, and facials using SKINN and Babor products. It’s the perfect way to recover post-workout or enjoy a relaxing wellness escape.
Do you offer outdoor or seasonal fitness options?
We host year-round indoor and outdoor classes, taking advantage of the desert climate. From sunrise yoga on the lawn to poolside fitness and outdoor boot camps, there’s always a refreshing way to stay active.
Do you offer guest passes or day access to the fitness center?
Access to the Mission Hills Sports Club and Spa is reserved for Members and their guests. Non-members may visit only when accompanied by a Member or as part of an approved tour or event. To learn more, please contact our Membership Director.
What services are available at The Spa and Salon?
The Spa and Salon at Mission Hills offer a complete menu of treatments, including custom massages, body therapies, facials, hair design, nail services, and skin and beauty care.
Do I need to be a Member to book a spa or salon service?
Spa and salon services are available to Members and their guests. Non-members may inquire about select appointment availability and special event packages.
Can I book appointments in advance?
Yes. Reservations are recommended, especially during weekends and peak season. Appointments can be made through the app or Member portal or by calling the Spa directly.
Are there amenities I can enjoy before or after my treatment?
Absolutely. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the Spa’s steam rooms, relaxation lounges, and wellness areas to fully unwind and recharge before or after their service.
Do you offer couples or group spa experiences?
Yes. Mission Hills can accommodate couples or small group bookings for massages, facials, or wellness rituals, with customized options available for bridal parties or special occasions.
What should I know before my appointment?
Please arrive 15–20 minutes early to enjoy the facilities and ensure a relaxed start. We recommend turning off mobile devices and communicating any health considerations to your therapist prior to your treatment.

Mission Hills specializes in six-wicket croquet, a strategic and social version of the game rooted in British tradition and played at the championship level.
Who teaches croquet at Mission Hills?
Our program is led by Josh Freeth, one of the world’s top-ranked croquet players. He provides expert instruction through group clinics and private lessons each season.
When is the croquet season?
The croquet season runs from November through April, taking advantage of Palm Springs’ ideal winter weather for outdoor play.
Do I need experience to participate?
Not at all! Whether you’re completely new to croquet or an experienced competitor, the program offers lessons and play opportunities tailored to every skill level.
Are private lessons available?
Yes. Private lessons with Josh Freeth are available by appointment, offering personalized coaching to refine your game and strategy.
