Pickleball

Pickleball Courts and Use

After signing up on the Court Reserve app, you will see the Pickleball courts listed. The Pickleball courts are numbered 1-5. The third tennis court from the pool nearest the tennis shed, still numbered 3 at the top, is the home of Pickleball courts #1, #2, and #3. They are numbered from nearest the tennis shed starting with #1. These really are the nicest outdoor courts in the state. As we said, our three new Pickleball courts are dedicated for Pickleball use only, have a separate-colored kitchen which makes it easier to stay out of it, are slightly cushioned to make it easier on your joints without affecting the bounce, and are lighted for evening play until 10 pm. The hard tennis court numbered 4 at the top is the home of Pickleball courts #4 and #5. Courts #4 and #5, are mainly for overflow and social events so only sign up for these if #1, #2, and #3 are already taken. Courts #4 and #5 also share lines with the tennis court and have removable rolling nets. Please make your reservation for the numbered court of your choice and please go to the appropriate numbered court to ensure ease of use for all members. Remember, we provide complementary paddles and balls for your use if you need them. Just ask at the Fitness Center to get equipment when you check-in.
