Membership at Carolina Club

The Carolina Club supports the UNC General Alumni Association by providing a home where alumni, friends of the University and the Chapel Hill community meet in the spirit of fellowship, camaraderie and tradition. We enrich our Members' lives through arts, education and social programs in a culture of gracious hospitality and philanthropic values.

Resident

Monthly Dues - $70 | Initiation Fee - $400

Young Professional (Age 34 & Under)

Monthly Dues - $51 | Initiation Fee - $300

UNC Faculty & Staff

Monthly Dues - $53 | Initiation Fee - $300

Non-Resident

Monthly Dues - $49 | Initiation Fee - $300 | (Home and Business addresses are both outside of Orange, Durham & Chatham Counties)

Who We Are

Ours is a story steeped in Carolina history and traditions, with meaningful contributions from alumni throughout our venerable halls. We've hosted sitting presidents and luminaries, and are proud to be home to a diverse membership that includes Founding Members.

Located in the heart of UNC's campus, our Club is the perfect place to come together with friends or colleagues for fun or business and be treated to gracious hospitality.

Dine

Offering a heightened level of hospitality, our two distinct dining venues, including the richly appointed formal dining room and the more casual O'Herrons Grill, present the perfect atmosphere to dine with friends or entertain clients.

With a robust social schedule of Member Events, The Carolina Club provides a vibrant, diverse network of Chapel Hill's business and social community.

Amenities at Carolina Club

Carolina Club exists to support its Members in living their best lives. Whether The Carolina Club is providing pregame dining to Tar Heel fans, meeting space for one of the many departments on campus hosting an event or a milestone celebration for a Member, our offerings are adapted to meet the needs of our Members and community.

Concierge Services

Let us get to work for you. We can assist with local hotel reservations for your traveling convenience or out-of-town guests. The Club has access to local high-end transportation when traveling from the airport or local hotels, and If you wish to entertain on a golf course, the Club can make arrangements with local high-end golf courses.

Tar Heels Fans

Cheer on your Tar Heels from inside our Club all year long. Members enjoy Tailgating Parties to celebrate UNC Football, and we are the place to be for UNC Basketball pre-game celebrations, offering pre-game meals and a place to gather before or after the game. The Carolina Club lets you be part of the action, even if you don’t have tickets to the big games.

The Carolina Club helps Members achieve their professional goals by providing networking and engagement opportunities and informative talks by expert professionals. Our Clubs-with-a-Club foster community and connections no matter your interest, from business clubs and women's-interest clubs to aficionado and sports-lovers clubs.
