What membership tiers are available?
Membership options at University Club San Diego include Resident XLife City and Young Executive, XLife City, for Members ages 40 or younger.
What benefits are included?
Included benefits span workspace access, premium dining experiences, social event participation, nationwide club network privileges and downtown-prime amenities.
Is there a corporate membership option?
Yes. There are membership categories and packages tailored for professionals and companies, including options with enhanced dining or travel and golf benefits suited for group or corporate use.
Can I switch membership types later?
Yes. Members may upgrade or adjust their membership type as their lifestyle or interests change. Our Membership Directors can help tailor your membership to fit your needs.
Can I use other Invited clubs when I travel?
Yes. Through our XLife benefits, you gain access to a national network of 350+ private clubs and special privileges at partner resorts, hotels, and city clubs across the country.
What services and items are included in the site fee?
The starting site fee typically includes tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, china, and set-up/clean-up.
Are catering and bar services provided in-house?
Yes, full catering and bar services are offered through the Club, with chef-crafted cuisine and beverage packages including house wine, beer, and liquors.
What is the venue capacity?
The venue accommodates up to about 200–250 guests depending on the layout and space used.
Are there promotions or special offers for bookings?
Yes, the Club periodically offers perks such as complimentary upgrades or bar enhancements when bookings are made by specific deadlines.
How do I schedule a tour of the club?
Book a tour through our website or contact a Membership Director directly.
How quickly can I join after touring?
Membership applications are often approved within a few days, so you can begin enjoying the club almost immediately.
Do I need to make an appointment or can I just stop by?
Appointments are recommended to ensure a Membership Director is available to customize your visit.
Can I bring a guest to the club?
Yes. Guests are welcome when accompanied by a Member (or pre-registered), and standard guest fees/policies apply for golf, racquets, fitness, and aquatics. Please check in at reception or the appropriate shop on arrival.
Are non-members able to dine at the club?
Dining is reserved for Members and their invited guests. From time to time, we host select ticketed events; availability is announced in advance.
Is parking available for guests?
The Club is located on the 34th floor of the Symphony Towers in downtown San Diego; guests should check with the Club for validated parking options in the building or nearby garage.
