The Houston Club offers numerous monthly networking events such as wine tastings, Member socials and themed business networking events, in addition to our Lyceum Distinguished Speakers Series, Young Professional Executive Roundtable Speakers Series, and Executive Women in Leadership Luncheons. There are also many exciting events that the entire family will enjoy. Our outstanding Wine Committee regularly hosts themed dinners throughout the year. 

Dress Code

The Houston Club provides a cordial and professional environment for Members and their guests to enjoy.  Business casual is the desired attire for most portions of the club. Business professional attire is required for dining in the Magnolia Dining Room

Business Casual Men
Collared shirt (including polo shirt) tucked in, slacks (or khakis) and closed-toe leather dress shoes (or equivalent military or public agency uniform or native attire). A jacket is not required. Casual dress does not include shorts of any kind, tattered or worn blue jeans, or similar outerwear, or t-shirts, sleeveless or non-collared shirts, or traditional dress/sport shirts with shirt-tails left untucked. 

Women
Dress, skirt, pantsuit, slacks or denim and blouse, sweater or top and dress shoes including open or closed-toe shoes, mules, loafer and dressy sandals (or equivalent military or public agency uniform or native dress). Casual dress does not include shorts of any kind, tattered or worn blue jeans, or similar outerwear, or t-shirts.  

Private Events & Member Special Events
Dress code for Private Parties and special Member Events in the private dining rooms may vary. (ie:  Mother’s Day Brunch, Easter Brunch, Thanksgiving Brunch, New Years Eve, Wine Dinners, etc.)  Promotions of Member Special Events will include information about proper dress.  

Overall
Members are responsible for understanding and agreeing to adhere to the Dress Code Policy while on premises.  The Member is responsible to inform all family members and guests of this policy and is responsible for ensuring their family and guests are attired properly. As an established policy by the Board of Directors, those who do not comply with the stated dress code may be asked to leave the Club. Determination of the acceptability of casual dress shall be made at the sole discretion of the professional staff of the Houston Club. Thank you for your cooperation in helping maintain the high standards, quality, and ambiance of your Houston Club experience.
