A Club Built on Community
In 1956, over dinner at Ruby’s in Palm Springs, the vision for Indian Wells Country Club was born — a private club built around informal desert living. The Classic Course followed, along with the Bob Hope Desert Classic, placing Indian Wells at the center of golf history.
Legends walked these fairways. Presidents visited. Milestones were made — from Arnold Palmer’s hole-in-one to the dedication of Desi’s Deck.
What began in 1956 continues to shape the Club today.
