Rob began his career at Heritage in the late 90s, and has more than 20 years of experience in the golf business. He started his career as a PGA apprentice at Harlingen Country Club in Southern Texas, where he was an assistant golf professional for four years. After being elected to membership as a class A PGA Professional into the PGA of America in 1994, Rod moved to Mason, Ohio where he worked for two seasons as the Director of Instruction at the Jack Nicklaus Sports Center. Rods’ strengths include a thorough understanding of the mechanics of the golf swing and the ability to recognize and correct swing faults for golfers of all skill levels. Rod also understands the nuances of playing the game at a high level, because of his four years of Division 1 collegiate golf, at the University of Texas Pan American. Rod uses this combination of knowledge as a player and teacher, to provide a comprehensive package of golf instruction and coaching, to all his students.
