Men's Member/Member Golf Tournament
Men's Member-Member Golf Tournament Please call the Golf Shop to Register for our Member-Member Golf Tournament! 336.551.2734 On behalf of the entire staff at Bermuda Run Country Club, we would like to invite you to this year’s Men’s Member-Member Friday, May 17 through Sunday, May 19, 2024. This is the premier member tournament of the year. Our team is working hard to provide a special weekend! Full Golf Members and Legacy Junior Executive Members are eligible for this event. You may bring your completed entry form that includes you and your partner’s complete information to the East golf shop OR you may email it to brccgolfshop@invitedclubs.com. If you choose to email the completed form, please make sure you get a confirmation email back that we have received your application. Entries begin starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20 through Wednesday, May 1. The field may consist of up to seventy-eight two-man teams. If more than seventy-eight teams enter, a waiting list will be managed based on chronological order of entry. *The final date to withdraw from the event is Friday, May 10th. If the withdrawn team is replaced, the original team will be refunded. Each member participant must have a U.S.G.A. handicap established by May1 to be eligible. The weekend festivities begin with lunch for players starting at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17th and an optional practice round at 1:00 p.m. Teams playing in the practice round may compete in two optional games: a two-man team better-ball with gross and net prizes and closest to the hole competition. Join us after the practice round for the Member-Member Opening Party for all participants and your spouse/ significant other from 6:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. on the Event Lawn. We will continue to use the popular Round Robin Match Play format. The field will be divided into flights of 6 teams each based on a combined handicap index. Each team within the flight will play a 9-hole match against the other five teams in the flight. This is a wonderful way to meet other members! Players will play from the tee their handicap has been established. Please indicate tee on your registration form. Each match will play off the low handicap in that match for those 9 holes and compete using net score. Your starting handicap for each match is not adjusted when playing others from different tees. It is simply your handicap from that tee based on the U.S.G.A. index chart by that tee color. Each match is worth ten points; one point per hole and an additional point to the match winner. The field will compete on the East Course and back nine of the West Course. We thank Scott Fallon and his team for providing the exceptional course experience! Enjoy breakfast in the Main Dining Room between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Both Saturday and Sunday, announcements in the cart staging area will begin at 8:45 a.m. The official tournament will begin with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start Saturday. The first three matches will be played on Saturday. The final two matches and flight winner Shoot-Out are on Sunday. After Saturday’s three matches are completed, the team(s) with the lowest score in their flight (and ties) will be invited to play in the Death Flight to give them new life. (They still compete in their original flight as well.) Each invited team must enter the Death Flight before teeing off Sunday morning. The winner of the Death Flight based on Sunday points will advance to the flight winner Shoot-Out also. The Death Flight winners are only eligible for flight prizes and Overall trophy. They are not eligible for any other winnings. The flight winners will compete in a Shoot-Out to determine the overall 2024 Member-Member Champions. This is the premier member tournament of the year. Our team is working hard to provide a special weekend! Full Golf Members and Legacy Junior Executive Members are eligible for this event. NCAA Women's Regional - East Course Hours Effected
NCAA Women's Regional Bermuda Run is honored to host the NCAA Women's Regional starting next Sunday, May 5 through Wednesday, May 8 at the East Course. The East course will be closed Sunday, May 5 through Wednesday afternoon, May 8. The East food service will be open Monday and Tuesday for lunch as well as regular hours Wednesday for our Members and our guests. The West course will be open Sunday through Wednesday for Member play including Mulligans for lunch Wednesday. ... This will alter our course and range schedule, please refer to email updates from Mary Thomas. Saturday - we will use a SINGLE tee start at BOTH East and West starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday will NOT be a double tee. The range will CLOSE next Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The range becomes exclusively NCAA practice at 2:00 p.m. Saturday. They will use a morning double tee each day beginning at 8:00 a.m. Order of play will change based on team scores. Practice Round and Round 1 are set. Round 2 and Round 3 will come from scoring the prior day. We are excited to share the 12 teams coming to compete: Wake Forest Texas Ole Miss Tennessee Oregon State North Texas Mississippi State UCF South Florida Delaware Charleston Southern Navy Individuals who have qualified are from: NC State Georgia Southern North Florida James Madison Fairfield You are welcome to come watch the tournament and are encouraged to do so. This is the premier member tournament of the year. Our team is working hard to provide a special weekend! Full Golf Members and Legacy Junior Executive Members are eligible for this event. You may bring your completed entry form that includes you and your partner’s complete information to the East golf shop OR you may email it to brccgolfshop@invitedclubs.com. If you choose to email the completed form, please make sure you get a confirmation email back that we have received your application. Entries begin starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20 through Wednesday, May 1. The field may consist of up to seventy-eight two-man teams. If more than seventy-eight teams enter, a waiting list will be managed based on chronological order of entry. *The final date to withdraw from the event is Friday, May 10th. If the withdrawn team is replaced, the original team will be refunded. Each member participant must have a U.S.G.A. handicap established by May1 to be eligible. The weekend festivities begin with lunch for players starting at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17th and an optional practice round at 1:00 p.m. Teams playing in the practice round may compete in two optional games: a two-man team better-ball with gross and net prizes and closest to the hole competition. Join us after the practice round for the Member-Member Opening Party for all participants and your spouse/ significant other from 6:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. on the Event Lawn. We will continue to use the popular Round Robin Match Play format. The field will be divided into flights of 6 teams each based on a combined handicap index. Players will play from the tee their handicap has been established. Please indicate tee on your registration form. Each match will play off the low handicap in that match for those 9 holes and compete using net score. Your starting handicap for each match is not adjusted when playing others from different tees. It is simply your handicap from that tee based on the U.S.G.A. index chart by that tee color. Each match is worth ten points; one point per hole and an additional point to the match winner.
