Matt has been in the golf course management industry for the last 22 years. With a father who was a Golf Course Superintendent for 35 years, he knew there was no other profession for him. Matt graduated from the University of Maryland and spent six years managing both the North and South golf courses at Wilmington Country Club in Delaware. He then decided to go to New York, where he spent four years at Siwanoy Country Club and the next six years at Knollwood Country Club as Superintendent. His desire to return to the mid-Atlantic area was fulfilled upon receiving the superintendent position at The Piedmont Club in Haymarket. He and his wife are very excited about this opportunity at Belmont as they just started a new family with a little baby girl.
