Holes: 18   Yards: 7,060   Par: 72   Rating: 74.1   Slope: 133

1st Hole

Par 5

Pro’s Tip:
A generous fairway from the tee, then narrows for the second shot, stay left to avoid the creek and the trees. Approach shot will be to an elevated green. Keep the ball below the hole on this sever back-to-front sloping green.

Tee 1: 521

Tee 2: 521

Tee 3: 494

Tee 4: 444

Tee 5: 444

2nd Hole

Par 4

Pro’s Tip:
A generously wide fairway with out of bounds up the left. The player will need a lofted shot to hold the pushed up green and avoid Hogan’s ominous front bunker.

Tee 1: 404

Tee 2: 377

Tee 3: 377

Tee 4: 325

Tee 5: 325

3rd Hole

Par 4

Pro’s Tip:
A tee shot that favors the left center of the fairway rewards the player with a good angle to the pin. It’s a long green situated at a 45 degree angle to the fairway, so if the pin is located in the back of the green, take enough club to avoid the front bunker.

Tee 1: 414

Tee 2: 378

Tee 3: 351

Tee 4: 351

Tee 5: 286

4th Hole

Par 4

Pro’s Tip:
This gentle, uphill dogleg right hole can be very deceptive. This hole requires a well thought out tee shot that is long enough to leave a short iron approach, but at the same time not so long that the player drives the ball through the fairway at the bend and finds their ball behind the trees to the left. Staying below the flag stick is a huge advantage to successfully exiting this green with a two putt.

Tee 2: 379

Tee 3: 350

Tee 4: 316

Tee 5: 316

5th Hole

Par 3

Pro’s Tip:
This par 3 is surrounded by bunkers and pond on the right. The safety play is short and left of the green. Long left or right will make for very difficult up and down.

Tee 1: 194

Tee 2: 378

Tee 3: 148

Tee 4: 148

Tee 5: 119

6th Hole

Par 5

Pro’s Tip:
A good drive here could seem tempting to go for it, but this green is surrounded by an army of Hogan’s bunkers that won’t let you in. Lay up to the right of the trees for the best angle to the pin.

Tee 1: 526

Tee 2: 526

Tee 3: 492

Tee 4: 492

Tee 5: 423

7th Hole

Par 4

Pro’s Tip:
The tee shot comes out of a narrow chute in the trees but it opens up at the top of the hill at the fairway bunkers. A great second shot looking down to a generous green. Playing to the middle of the green regardless of the pin placement is a safe bet as a short approach here makes for a tough up and down.

Tee 1: 441

Tee 2: 409

Tee 3: 409

Tee 4: 328

Tee 5: 328

8th Hole

Par 3

Pro’s Tip:
If the water doesn’t make you sweat, then this small green, severely tilted from back to front will. Do your best to avoid a down hill putt here.

Tee 1: 210

Tee 2: 163

Tee 3: 163

Tee 4: 110

Tee 5: 110

9th Hole

Par 4

Pro’s Tip:
A big drive here will set you up to attack the pin. Watch out for the wind, it can pick up as this is one of the highest parts of the course. The tee complex is surrounded by trees and houses that can block the wind.

Tee 1: 425

Tee 2: 392

Tee 3: 392

Tee 4: 338

Tee 5: 338

10th Hole

Par 5

Pro’s Tip:
Tee shots on the left side of the fairway will tend to feed to the middle because of a slight left to right slope. The second shot is best placed on the right side of the green to avoid an inviting greenside bunker and a better angle of attack to the hole.

Tee 1: 588

Tee 2: 526

Tee 3: 526

Tee 4: 596

Tee 5: 496

11th Hole

Par 4

Pro’s Tip:
Hole number 11 is a par 4 that favors a right to left tee shot. The approach shot into the green is slightly uphill and straight forward. There are bunkers guarding the green to the right and behind.

Tee 1: 400

Tee 2: 361

Tee 3: 361

Tee 4: 315

Tee 5: 315

12th Hole

Par 3

Pro’s Tip:
Hole 12 is a par 3 to an elevated green that slopes back to front. Leaving the ball just short of the hole usually sets up a nice uphill birdie putt!

Tee 1: 194

Tee 2: 168

Tee 3: 168

Tee 4: 152

Tee 5: 152

13th Hole

Par 4

Pro’s Tip:
This par 4 is a dog leg right with a semi blind tee shot. There is more room on the right than is visible from the teeing area. The approach shot will be into an elevated green that slopes back to front.

Tee 1: 418

Tee 2: 381

Tee 3: 362

Tee 4: 362

Tee 5: 339

14th Hole

Par 4

Pro’s Tip:
This is a fun par 4 with a creek that cuts across the fairway. Depending on the players ability, opting for a 3-wood or long iron off the tee may be in your best interest to avoid the penalty area. Off the tee, left has more room for the ball to stay dry. Best to go for the center of the green on your approach shot, as water on the left and bunkers on the right can make for a small target!

Tee 1: 400

Tee 2: 400

Tee 3: 372

Tee 4: 372

Tee 5: 343

15th Hole

Par 4

Pro’s Tip:
The par 4 fifteenth is probably the straightest hole on the course. This tree lined beauty is just asking you to take dead aim! This green is larger than some, so dial in that approach shot so you have a great birdie opportunity.

Tee 1: 448

Tee 2: 414

Tee 3: 339

Tee 4: 339

Tee 5: 318

16th Hole

Par 5

Pro’s Tip:
From the tee box, aiming down the right side of the fairway is a great idea, as there is a pond on the left. Some longer hitters may be able to reach the green in two but staying down the middle is a great place to be. The green is also sloped back to front with some bunkers surrounding.

Tee 1: 525

Tee 2: 525

Tee 3: 491

Tee 4: 491

Tee 5: 404

17th Hole

Par 3

Pro’s Tip:
Hole 17 is a longer par 3 with a greenside bunker ready to catch any tee shot short-right. A tee shot on the left side of the green could potentially make for a long up-hill putt depending on the hole placement for the day.

Tee 1: 194

Tee 2: 175

Tee 3: 175

Tee 4: 153

Tee 5: 153

18th Hole

Par 4

Pro’s Tip:
The finishing par 4 eighteenth sits atop the hill and looks out over the club with Southlake off in the distance. This dogleg left over water is a fun way to end the round. Play your tee shot to the middle of the fairway and you will have the best position to attack the hole.
