The Roost is where Westlake Country Club Members kick back and experience the best of outdoor living. Enjoy a resort-style hangout spot while you relax or watch sports with friends and family. Creekside Dining

Located in the Clubhouse, Creekside Dining Room offers approachable elegance. Enjoy brunch, lunch, dinner, and cocktails with a view of the surrounding landscape on the wraparound balcony or inside the charmingly rustic dining room. Creekside will undergo renovations in 2024 to provide an even better fine dining experience.

About Our Executive Chef

Born in East Texas, Executive Chef Christopher Bauer brings flavors from around the world to Westlake Country Club. In New York, Bauer honed his passion for cooking at the renowned Culinary Institute of America, earning him accolades from both the CIA and Food and Wine Magazine as one of the standout culinary students of the year.

Chef Bauer spent a brief stint in New Orleans, gaining knowledge of Carolina Low Country and Creole cuisine (yes, his gumbo is a force to be reckoned with!) before venturing to Austin, Texas. In the early 2000s he spearheaded à la carte operations at Barton Creek, opened the Hilton Hotel as the Á la Carte Culinary Director, and spent 11 years as the Executive Chef at the iconic Eddie V’s on 5th Street.

Today, Chef Bauer’s culinary journey continues at Westlake Country Club, interweaving his deep Texas roots with a knack for international dishes.
