Las Colinas delivers a championship experience shaped by undulating greens, water features, strategically placed hazards, and a layout that rewards patience as much as confidence. Designed by Joe Finger, the par-71 course spans 18 holes and stretches 7,090 yards from the back tees. The course serves as the host of the Invited Celebrity Classic, a PGA TOUR Champions and Charles Schwab Cup event.

Pro’s Tip:

On a clear day you stand on this tee and see the downtown Dallas landscape. Coined as City View, this hole is down hill sliding to the right. Make sure your tee shot is placed on the left side of the fairway for a right kick.

2nd Hole

Pro’s Tip:

The character of Las Colinas is no more prevalent than on this hole. A tee shot that goes straight up the hill guarded by fairway bunkers and one of the most difficult greens to putt. A challenge off the tee but beware of the fairway bunkers and difficult uphill lie if you do make the fairway. A layup to 150 yards will leave you with an approach to the green that plays a club or more up the hill.

3rd Hole

Pro’s Tip:

Another great view down a winding par 5. Players can attempt to challenge this short par 5 by going up the left, but beware of the creeping out of bounds and deep bunker. A smart play would be to leave yourself 100 yards out on your 3rd shot to a green that has multiple hole locations.

Pro’s Tip:

The first of 5 par 3s, this all-carry hole is not short of thrills. Use the hill on the back of the green to filter your ball back onto the putting surface because anything short or on the front may run the risk of rolling back in the water.

Pro’s Tip:

One of the most difficult par 4s on the course; your tee shot is critical to making par. A slight draw with a driver or well placed layup will avoid the dangers of the tree lined fairway.

Pro’s Tip:

Enjoy the last par 3 on the front. Whether you are playing from 220 or 133, being pin high is critical on this narrow green guarded by front and back bunkers.

Pro’s Tip:

Back up the hill we go with the last par 5 on the front. Make sure to aim left off the tee as the fairway will kick right. Play to 100 yards for your third to have a flat lie in the fairway.

Pro’s Tip:

Looking down the hill to what seems like a sea of water, you want to make sure your tee shot stays right, as the water creeps in on the left. A safe second shot would be to play to the middle right of the green to avoid what can be an easy double bogey hole.

Pro’s Tip:

At 445 yards, this hole can feel like 500 yards. Stay to the left off the tee for a right kick in the fairway. Make sure to club up and check the pin location on what is one of the most difficult greens to hit in regulation on the course.

Pro’s Tip:

A great hole to start the back 9, you can use the dam of the lake on the right to kick your ball further down the fairway but beware of the strategically placed fairway bunker for the longer hitters. Those who try to challenge the green in two will be met with some difficult valleys and bunkers to this elevated green.

Pro’s Tip:

The 11th hole always seems to play a club longer than advertised. Normally into the prevailing wind, make sure to stay left as the ball will kick right into the hazard that runs down the right side of the hole.

Pro’s Tip:

This dogleg-right par 4 has everything you want in the look of a golf hole. You can challenge your drive down the right, but beware of the deep bunker and hazard. A smart play would be down the middle left of the fairway to a green that sinks down. Pro tip is to play left and kick the ball down the hill on your second shot.

Pro’s Tip:

A signature par 3, keeping the ball below the hole is a premium. Due to a large plateau on the green, a well placed iron shot can lead to birdie while a poor one can lead to bogey or worse.

Pro’s Tip:

At one of the highest points on property the skyline looks like it goes on forever. Long hitters can challenge the hole to the left but a poor shot can lead to trees or even OB. Playing to 150 yards will leave you in a great position to hit into a green that slopes from back to front.

15th Hole

Pro’s Tip:

One of the only blind tee shots on the course, players beware of the water that lurks just over the hill. A tee shot down the middle left of the fairway is ideal; make sure you leave it back no less than 150 yards from the green or you will be swimming for your ball. A safe second is anything on the left side of the green because long, short or right will be in the water on this difficult par 4.

Pro’s Tip:

Arguably one of the toughest par 4's on property, this hole not only plays up hill but normally into the prevailing wind. Make sure to play down the left off the tee and be sure to club up on the second. Not only does it play longer, there is large false front that moves balls down the hill again. Pro tip is to use the hill on the back of the green to work your ball back on to the putting surface

Pro’s Tip:

The last of our 5 par 3s, this one is definitely easy on the eyes. Play to the right to avoid the water and bunkers on the left; the ball naturally kicks right.

Pro’s Tip:

A signature par 5 and a great way to finish the round. Make sure to play to the left side of the fairway for a right kick. Long hitters can challenge the green that looks to drip into the lake on the right side. A great third would be 120 yards out to a narrow green with multiple pin locations that can challenge even the best wedge player in the game.
