Our Story
The story of Centre Club began in 1984, when Founding Board of Governors Chairman Lee Bentley and the Club’s founding leaders set out to create a new standard for Tampa Bay’s business professionals and community leaders. A select group was invited to form the founding membership, bringing together people who were shaping the business and civic life of the region.
In the four decades since, Centre Club has become a welcoming home to the city's leaders and innovators, a place where professional connections turn into lasting friendships. The Club has hosted thousands of meetings and events and hundreds of weddings, becoming a familiar part of Tampa Bay’s business and social community along the way.
