Canterwood's name itself whispers of its equestrian past. Originally envisioned as a private haven for horse lovers, the community took its name from the surrounding forest and the rhythmic gait of a horse, the canter. As time progressed, the community's focus eventually shifted to the golf course and country club we know today. The horse trails and repurposed stables stand as charming reminders of our unique heritage. The Stablehouse restaurant, named after the original stables, is a delightful nod to our history.

About Alicia
After graduating from Eastern Washington University with her bachelor’s in Communication, Public Relations, Alicia joined the Canterwood Team in 2019 with a passion for member organizations and event planning. She finds joy in helping connect members to one another, finding their home at Canterwood through events, clubs, and personal connections. When not at work Alicia enjoys spending time with her dog, Murphy, and tending to her indoor forest of house plants.
