Ballet Barre w Lidice
Ballet Barre refers to a horizontal handrail used by ballet dancers for support during exercise. The word "barre" is also used to describe the exercises themselves, which ate a fundamental part of ballet training. Grace meets strength in this foundational ballet class designed to refine movement, build physical awareness, and deepen your connection to classical technique. Centered around traditional barre work, this class provides a structured and supportive environment where dancers of all levels—whether you're stepping into ballet for the first time or returning after a break—can develop and grow. Each session begins with a gentle warm-up to prepare the body, followed by a series of progressive barre exercises that focus on posture, alignment, flexibility, and balance. Movements are broken down with care to ensure proper form, helping students strengthen their core, elongate their muscles, and improve overall coordination. In addition to physical conditioning, this class encourages artistic expression, musicality, and the mindful presence that makes ballet a lifelong discipline. Through consistent practice, you'll begin to develop the elegant lines, fluid transitions, and refined control that define classical ballet technique. Whether your goal is to pursue dance more seriously, cross-train with grace, or simply enjoy the artistry and rhythm of ballet, this class offers a rewarding and enriching experience. No prior ballet experience is required—just a willingness to move, learn, and enjoy the process. Ballet slippers or socks with grip are recommended.
