COURSE INFO

Olde Atlanta winds through the rolling hills of North Atlanta, with three picturesque lakes and elevation changes that make each round memorable and challenging.

1st Hole

Par 4 · 436

Pro’s Tip:
This Par 4 is a good warm-up hole to get your round started. A good drive to the middle of the fairway should leave you with a mid-short iron approach to this protected green. Avoid the bunker and you could start off your round with a birdie!

Tee 6: 291

Tee 7: 291

2nd Hole

Par 4 · 410

Pro’s Tip:
A good drive with a fairway wood on this narrow downhill Par 4 allows you to have a short iron into the green. This is a good hole to be aggressive and see if you can start off the round with two birdies!

Tee 7: 334

3rd Hole

Par 3 · 198

Pro’s Tip:
Aggressiveness is over!!! This difficult uphill, long Par 3 is the first test of your round. Shoot for the middle of the green and be happy with a par. Any miss short, left, or right can lead to a large number and set you back for the rest of the round.

4th Hole

Par 4 · 370

Pro’s Tip:
Another challenging hole, but this Par 4 will be made easier once you reach the right center of the fairway on the downhill tee shot. Avoid being short with your approach as the up and in is easier from behind the green.

5th Hole

Par 5 · 489

Pro’s Tip:

The round hasn't gotten any easier, as this short Par 5 can be a friend or foe. A drive up the right center of the fairway can make this green reachable in two and avoids the creek that runs the length of the hole. If you need to lay back, give yourself a full wedge into this green and should make for an easy par.

6th Hole

Par 4 · 384

Pro’s Tip:
This short but difficult Par 4 requires a precise tee shot to the end of the fairway on the far left side while avoiding the lake. If you get too far right, you will be blocked out from the green and will have to curve a shot around the trees. A par is always a good number here.

7th Hole

Par 4 · 370

Pro’s Tip:
A mid-length Par 4 up the hill requires a quality tee shot to the left center of the fairway and then a good approach to the middle of the green makes for the easiest hole since hole 2.

8th Hole

Par 3 · 163

Pro’s Tip:
This short Par 3 will give you a break from the challenges that you have been facing. A good iron shot to the middle of the green will lead to an easy two putt par.

9th Hole

Par 4 · 450

Pro’s Tip:
Another narrow and fairly long Par 4 requires a drive up the right center of the fairway. A good drive will lead to a downhill lie for your approach into this green. Be aggressive and try to end the front nine with a birdie!

10th Hole

Par 4 · 407

Pro’s Tip:

This narrow, short, downhill Par 4 requires a good tee shot with an iron or fairway wood. It will lead to a wedge into the green that you will not want to miss left or long. It's a fairly easy hole that if you don't take it seriously, will lead to a big number.

11th Hole

Par 4 · 381

Pro’s Tip:
This short Par 4 is marked by the pond guarding the green. Keep your tee shot short of the pond and on the left side of the fairway for the best approach to this guarded green.

12th Hole

Par 5 · 511

Pro’s Tip:
One of the toughest holes for all players on this course is this Par 5. Long, narrow, and uphill, well defended with bunkers and trees means that you need precision for the entire hole. Keep your drive up the right center and then leave yourself a full iron shot into the green. Go for the middle of the green and be thrilled with a par, because 8 is a common score on this hole.

13th Hole

Par 3 · 173

Pro’s Tip:
Another easier hole to recover from the previous hole. This downhill Par 3 is considered the easiest hole on the course for a reason. You have room for error and still make a par. Take advantage as it only gets tougher from here.

Par 4 · 370

This short uphill Par 4 plays tougher than it looks. Hit a good drive into the middle of the fairway and attack the pin.

15th Hole

Par 4 · 418

Pro’s Tip:

A very difficult Par 4 that doglegs slightly left can create problems for you along the length of the hole. There is trouble left and right along with being the longest Par 4 on the back nine. Keep your drive in the middle and don't be afraid to be a little short on your approach to the green.

16th Hole

Par 3 · 199

Pro’s Tip:

This difficult downhill Par 3 is one that you won't want to miss long or left. There is a little room for error to the right or short, but anywhere on the green will give you your best shot at a par.

17th Hole

Par 4 · 351

Pro’s Tip:
A great final Par 4 for the course. You will need to clear the heavy rough in front of you with a good drive to the middle-middle right of this fairway. This hole is short enough to hit an iron or fairway wood to leave you just a wedge to the elevated green. You can miss this green and still get up and down, but the slope will make it very difficult.

Tee 7: 221

18th Hole

Par 5 · 525

Pro’s Tip:

A quirky and fun finishing hole. This short Par 5 has led to a lot of anguish, heartache, and excitement over the years. A good drive to the left center of the fairway will give you the best approach to this dogleg right green. The pond on the left of the fairway and then along the front up past the green does not give you room to miss. A well placed drive means that you will need to pick a target up the left side of the hole to avoid rolling into the water. It is reachable in two, but the green won't hold an aggressive long iron into this well protected hole. Keep left the entire way and you can escape with a par, but if you find yourself down a stroke, apply some pressure by getting home in two!
