Sailing Club Charter

Sailing Club Charter Sunday, July 28 | 11 am - 6 pm | $105 per person Come join us for fun on the water, as we sail the beautiful waters of San Diego. This is an excellent opportunity to see the city and surrounding landscape like never before. This event is intended to be social and introduce folks to the sailing world. New and seasoned sailors are all welcome. Current availability is 12 passengers, so availability is limited, and reservations fill fast! 72 hour cancellation policy strictly enforced. The crew will meet at Seaforth Boat Rental the day of the event 333 West Harbor Drive, Gate 1 Marriott Hotel and Marina Parking available @ Seaport Village, or Marriott with discount provided by Seaforth. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the scheduled event time to sign Harbor Sailboats has a large parking lot for us to use, but carpooling or Uber is encouraged. Please bring with you a jacket, water, sunscreen, and great energy! There is a deli/cafe at the marina that sells food and beverage. Join us for your work day as we spend time working separately, together. A break will be assigned during the event where members can connect with each other in the natural flow of their work day! Toast To Women Tuesday Tuesday, July 30 6 pm | $15 Come together to be inspired and toast one of the most powerful women in San Diego. Listen and raise a glass of cheer to a women who has broken the glass ceiling of what traditional law enforcement is often defined as. Let it be a night be to be curious and open to what limits might have defined you and learn how she has moved through the barriers to achieve their level of accomplishment. Enjoy light appetizers and one complimentary glass of wine Kelly A. Martinez Biography Sheriff Martinez is a San Diego native and committed to public safety. She has served the residents of San Diego County and the Sheriff's Department since 1985. She spent 22 years at the rank of Deputy Sheriff working in several assignments which included gang investigations, narcotic investigations, and criminal intelligence investigator. Sheriff Martinez then continued to rise through the ranks reaching the position of Undersheriff in 2021. Sheriff Martinez was elected Sheriff in 2022. She is responsible for providing law enforcement services to 4,200 square miles of unincorporated San Diego County, nine contract cities, seven jails, and security for the court houses. She is responsible for the department's $1.165 billion budget and 4,700 authorized employees. Sheriff Martinez has Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration.
