The Graveyard Course is one of three nine hole courses at Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree City, Georgia, part of the 27 hole layout designed by Joe Lee and opened in 1968. Elevation shifts and the natural flow of Flat Creek bring character to each round, complemented by a large double sided driving range and short game practice area.

Pro’s Tip:
A dogleg right par 5. Your tee shot is downhill and the shot into the green is uphill. Long hitters can reach the green in two while shorter hitters will need a well-placed second shot between the fairway bunkers for a wedge into the green.

Pro’s Tip:
The only dogleg left par 4 with an uphill tee shot. The placement of your tee shot will determine whether you will need a short or long iron into the green. The green is big but has a severe slope from back to front so short and putting uphill is better than being long.

A dogleg right par 4. A tee shot to the corner will give you a mid iron into the green. If you cut the ball you can get it around the corner and have a wedge in your hand. The green is guarded on three sides by bunkers and slopes from back to front.

A dogleg right par 4 with a downhill shot into a wide, two-tiered green. Another hole where your tee shot to the corner will give you a mid iron into the green or a good cut could put a wedge in your hand. The second shot is into a shallow green surrounded by bunkers so your choice of clubs is important.

A dogleg right par 5 with out of bounds left and penalty area right. The smart play would be to hit iron, iron, wedge into the green. If you hit driver, you could have a mid to long iron for your second shot. Favor the left-hand side for your shot into the green. Birdies and eagles are possible.

The Clubs of Peachtree City and Newnan offer 135 holes across five premier courses, including Braelinn, Canongate I, Flat Creek, White Oak, and Whitewater Creek.
