Located just outside Dallas in Frisco, TX, Stonebriar was created as a place to belong. From the beginning, the Club has brought together championship golf, racquet sports, fitness, dining, and social experiences within a private country club setting shaped by natural beauty. Today, Stonebriar offers a welcoming, member-focused environment rooted in community, tradition, and a shared appreciation for the club lifestyle.
Founded in 1988, Stonebriar has built its reputation around two distinct championship courses that reflect different eras of golf design. The original Country Club Course, designed by noted architects Joe Finger and Ken Dye, set the foundation with a traditional layout defined by rolling fairways and strategic shot-making. A decade later, a second course by acclaimed designer Tom Fazio was introduced, bringing a more modern style focused on playability, variety, and visual appeal. Together, the two courses give Stonebriar a depth of experience that has defined the Club for more than three decades.
