Dru Nelson
Caddy Master
Serving since 2022
About Dru
I’ve worked in the golf field since I was 16 years old. I was playing so much golf that I wanted to work at a course for the perk of golfing for free. I started in the cart lot and moved up the ranks to Assistant Director of Golf. Success at conducting tournaments led to more golf opportunities, and friendships, as I also took on the role of the local Director of the Golf Channel Amateur Tour and organized numerous golf tournaments in the Chicagoland area.
I joined the RG Pro Shop staff in 2019 and was promoted to Caddie Master in 2020. I really enjoy my time here. Overseeing the cart staff and the caddies has been a great experience for me. I love giving young people the opportunity to start their working lives in the golf world. It was a great experience for me, and likewise, I hope to make it a great experience for them.
