COURSE INFO

Play a storied Kingwood round shaped by Joe Finger, Ken Dye and Byron Nelson, renewed with TifEagle Bermuda greens and framed by lake and wooded views.

1st Hole

Par 4 · 420

Pro’s Tip:
A welcoming dogleg right par 4 with a bunker on the inside elbow. Favor the left side of the fairway to give yourself a green light to the green that has bunkers left and right.

Tee 1: 420

Tee 2: 369

Tee 3: 349

Tee 4: 329

Tee 5: 329

2nd Hole

Par 4 · 468

Pro’s Tip:
This par 4 is a long, difficult hole featuring a tee shot with water left and a bunker right that is 200 yards out. Steer clear of the lake near the green, which is fronted by a bunker on the left and a larger bunker right.

Tee 1: 468

Tee 2: 428

Tee 3: 396

Tee 4: 370

Tee 5: 324

3rd Hole

Par 4 · 397

Pro’s Tip:
This par 4 starts with a tee shot out of a gauntlet. A lake sneaks in on the left side about 160 yards out, while a roller coaster green is protected by four bunkers.

Tee 1: 397

Tee 2: 369

Tee 3: 349

Tee 4: 315

Tee 5: 315

4th Hole

Par 3 · 170

Pro’s Tip:
The first par 3 on the course is marked by an island green but has a generous landing area and a green that is severely pitched.

Tee 1: 170

Tee 2: 136

Tee 3: 120

Tee 4: 120

Tee 5: 95

5th Hole

Par 5 · 565

Pro’s Tip:
The first par 5 has a wide landing area and leans left. Aim at the fairway bunker off the tee. There is a small cross bunker in the middle of the fairway about 80 yards out. The kidney-shaped green has two tiers, bunkers front left and right with one in the back as well.

Tee 1: 565

Tee 2: 524

Tee 3: 483

Tee 4: 483

Tee 5: 442

6th Hole

Par 4 · 381

Pro’s Tip:
A short par 4 that requires strategy. There is a large cross bunker starting at 165 yards out; right of it will probably lead to a bogey or worse. The ideal drive is left of the bunker. The green has two bunkers left and two bunkers right.

Tee 1: 381

Tee 2: 364

Tee 3: 346

Tee 4: 328

Tee 5: 328

7th Hole

Par 5 · 511

Pro’s Tip:
The shortest par 5 on the course and a good risk/reward hole, reachable in two, but there is a lake starting around 300 yards out that runs down the entire left side. If you are not going for the green in two, lay up short of the right bunker complex to set up a short iron to the green, as the green has two small landing areas front and back.

Tee 1: 511

Tee 2: 488

Tee 3: 465

Tee 4: 465

Tee 5: 442

8th Hole

Par 3 · 196

Pro’s Tip:
The longest par 3 on the course. This green has major slopes, and center green from the tee is always a good play.

Tee 1: 196

Tee 2: 166

Tee 3: 136

Tee 4: 126

Tee 5: 106

9th Hole

Par 4 · 459

Pro’s Tip:
A tough par 4 with an extreme dogleg left and a large bunker on the inside elbow. A long and straight tee shot will still leave a long approach to a green with large bunkers right and left. The back right pin location is by far the most difficult.

Tee 1: 459

Tee 2: 406

Tee 3: 386

Tee 4: 346

Tee 5: 319

10th Hole

Par 5 · 610

Pro’s Tip:
The back nine starts with the longest hole on the course. Off the tee, aim at the left fairway bunker. The ideal second shot will be between or short of the two fairway bunkers about 150 yards out. There is a large greenside bunker front left and a deep pot bunker right.

Tee 1: 610

Tee 2: 552

Tee 3: 514

Tee 4: 476

Tee 5: 476

11th Hole

Par 4 · 419

Pro’s Tip:
This left-leaning par 4 is a good scoring opportunity, especially if you can hit a high right-to-left shot. This will leave you with a short iron to a green that’s only defense is a bunker front right.

Tee 1: 419

Tee 2: 389

Tee 3: 372

Tee 4: 347

Tee 5: 308

12th Hole

Par 3 · 210

Pro’s Tip:
The par 3 12th has a wraparound lake left and two bunkers right.

Tee 1: 210

Tee 2: 150

Tee 3: 135

Tee 4: 135

Tee 5: 111

13th Hole

Par 4 · 453

Pro’s Tip:
The No. 1 handicap hole is a long, tight par 4 that bends left and has water in front of the green. It was featured in the movie Tin Cup where it was played as the par 5 18th hole. There is a plaque in the fairway where Kevin Costner’s character Roy McAvoy holed a shot after depositing a few balls in the water. You’re welcome to try the shot but please move on after one attempt.

Tee 1: 453

Tee 2: 425

Tee 3: 397

Tee 4: 372

Tee 5: 285

14th Hole

Par 4 · 420

Pro’s Tip:
This par 4 comes out of a chute to a generous fairway with a bunker right, two pot bunkers back and a lake that sneaks in from the left.

Tee 1: 420

Tee 2: 384

Tee 3: 348

Tee 4: 312

Tee 5: 312

15th Hole

Par 4 · 371

Pro’s Tip:
A short, albeit tight off the tee par 4. The green plays a role in its difficulty and beauty. Expect the breeze to affect the ball; many approach shots come up short.

Tee 1: 371

Tee 2: 355

Tee 3: 340

Tee 4: 299

Tee 5: 289

16th Hole

Par 5 · 513

Pro’s Tip:
The final par 5. Reachable in two, although it is tight with water left the whole way. Favor left of center off the tee to give yourself a chance, then you’re challenged by the long undulating green.

Tee 1: 513

Tee 2: 478

Tee 3: 460

Tee 4: 460

Tee 5: 438

17th Hole

Par 3 · 191

Pro’s Tip:
The par 3 17th is medium length with water left and two bunkers right.

Tee 1: 191

Tee 2: 175

Tee 3: 150

Tee 4: 150

Tee 5: 135

18th Hole

Par 4 · 442

Pro’s Tip:
The finishing hole is a long par 4 dogleg right. Favor the left center off the tee. The Clubhouse provides a nice backdrop into the green which has a large bunker on the left side, one right and one long.

Tee 1: 442

Tee 2: 418

Tee 3: 393

Tee 4: 368

Tee 5: 368
