Located in the heart of northern Pinellas County, Countryside Country Club was created as a place to belong. Since opening in the 1970s, the Club has brought together championship golf, racquet sports, fitness, dining and social experiences within a private club setting surrounded by rolling Florida landscape. Today, Countryside offers a welcoming, Member-focused environment built around tradition and recreation.
Countryside opened in 1977 with three 9-hole championship courses by Gary Player, carefully routed across rolling terrain to take advantage of the area's natural contours, native oaks, and scenic beauty. Over the decades, the Club has grown into a full private club community with golf, racquet sports, fitness, swimming, dining, a spa, and year-round social experiences that bring Members together both on and off the course. It’s that sense of continuity that defines Countryside. Many members are now second-generation, and the Club has become a place where families stay to build lasting connections, welcomed by a team who knows them by name.
