A COURSE WITH MORE THAN ONE PERSONALITY

Designed by Rees Jones and opened in 1986, the 18-hole course moves between wooded corridors and more open stretches of Lowcountry terrain. Strategic bunkering, water, changing angles and elevated greens create a round that asks different questions from hole to hole, while pine forest, freshwater lagoons, marshland and Skull Creek give the course its unmistakable Hilton Head setting.

Pro’s Tip:

The fourteenth is the final par 3 and, some who say, the best on the course. It requires a forced carry over a marsh to an elevated and narrow green that’s guarded by deep bunkers. Aiming for the center of the green is a smart play.
