COURSE INFO

The Ironwood Course is Anthem’s most challenging layout, featuring multiple water hazards, bold bunkering, and a dramatic mountain mesa backdrop. The high‑risk, high‑reward design is defined by “Anthem Alley,” a demanding water‑guarded stretch from holes 10 through 12.

HOLE-BY-HOLE

1st Hole

Par 4 · 438

Pro’s Tip:
Ironwood opens with a long demanding par 4. This uphill hole rises 50 feet from tee to green. Bunkers frame the fairway and the green is protected by two bunkers.

Tee 1: 438

Tee 2: 404

Tee 3: 380

Tee 4: 376

Tee 5: 352

2nd Hole

Par 4 · 395

Pro’s Tip:
This narrow downhill par 4 may require a lay-up off the tee as a wash severs the fairway at 275 yards. A long bunker guards the right side of the green.

Tee 1: 395

Tee 2: 385

Tee 3: 366

Tee 4: 340

Tee 5: 300

3rd Hole

Par 5 · 546

Pro’s Tip:
Tumbling 60 feet downhill from tee to green, this 546 yard par 5 defines risk reward. A safe approach to the green requires a lay-up short of a deep wash which bisects the green from the fairway. A more bold approach however, will carry the wash setting up an eagle putt on an undulating green.

Tee 1: 546

Tee 2: 519

Tee 3: 486

Tee 4: 486

Tee 5: 457

4th Hole

Par 3 · 220

Pro’s Tip:
At 220 yards, hole 4 is the longest par 3 on the course. The large green divided by a ridge is guarded by a lake on the right.

Tee 1: 220

Tee 2: 201

Tee 3: 191

Tee 4: 150

Tee 5: 140

5th Hole

Par 4 · 457

Pro’s Tip:
This long par 4 features a narrow fairway bottlenecking at 300 yards. While the front and right of the green remain open, the left side is protected by a long menacing bunker.

Tee 1: 457

Tee 2: 408

Tee 3: 375

Tee 4: 370

Tee 5: 353

6th Hole

Par 5 · 571

Pro’s Tip:
This long par 5 demands an accurate tee shot between five intimidating bunkers. A cluster of bunkers 50 yards short of the green will challenge the second shot.

Tee 1: 571

Tee 2: 542

Tee 3: 535

Tee 4: 507

Tee 5: 469

7th Hole

Par 4 · 327

Pro’s Tip:
Hole 7 is the shortest par 4 on the course. Four arcing bunkers in the middle of the fairway call for a lay-up to the left. A tee shot over the bunkers to the right shelf fairway could reach the green.

Tee 1: 327

Tee 2: 309

Tee 3: 300

Tee 4: 279

Tee 5: 269

8th Hole

Par 3 · 183

Pro’s Tip:
Situated in a small valley, this 180 yard par 3 is squeezed by a pot bunker in the front right and a large bunker in the back left.

Tee 1: 183

Tee 2: 155

Tee 3: 145

Tee 4: 129

Tee 5: 123

9th Hole

Par 4 · 431

Pro’s Tip:
The finale to the front nine is an uphill 431 yard par 4. A tee shot daring the hazard on the left provides a better angle to the plateaued green. Bunkers protect the right and back of this small green.

Tee 1: 431

Tee 2: 401

Tee 3: 374

Tee 4: 362

Tee 5: 330

10th Hole

Par 4 · 411

Pro’s Tip:
A strategic tee shot on this downhill par 4 will hug the bunkers on the right. This will allow an easier approach to the green which is surrounded by water and a deceptive bunker short of the green.

Tee 1: 411

Tee 2: 385

Tee 3: 365

Tee 4: 358

Tee 5: 352

11th Hole

Par 3 · 217

Pro’s Tip:
This 217 yard par 3 features a semi-island green with water surrounding the entire back and right of the green, as well as on the right front.

Tee 1: 217

Tee 2: 188

Tee 3: 176

Tee 4: 168

Tee 5: 160

12th Hole

Par 5 · 598

Pro’s Tip:
Water lurks all around on the longest par 5 on the Ironwood course. A lake awaits an errant tee shot on the right. Conversely, a lake awaits an errant approach shot on the left.

Tee 1: 598

Tee 2: 574

Tee 3: 547

Tee 4: 524

Tee 5: 475

13th Hole

Par 4 · 468

Pro’s Tip:
Even at 468 yards, lucky #13 is not the longest par 4 on the course (#16 has that honor at 475 yards). A bold tee shot over the left fairway bunker sets up a better angle to the pin. The canted green is split by a large ridge.

Tee 1: 468

Tee 2: 455

Tee 3: 404

Tee 4: 396

Tee 5: 352

14th Hole

Par 4 · 434

Pro’s Tip:
A scattering of bunkers on the right provides tee shot excitement on this par 4. An accurate shot near the bunkers in the narrow fairway will produce a more favorable shot in to the green. Two bunkers on the left will catch a short approach on this uphill hole.

Tee 1: 434

Tee 2: 410

Tee 3: 400

Tee 4: 363

Tee 5: 325

15th Hole

Par 4 · 390

Pro’s Tip:
The golf shots on this short par 4 must negotiate four specimen mesquite trees. A tee shot between two trees in the fairway will open up a shot to a high plateau green flanked by two trees in front.

Tee 1: 390

Tee 2: 349

Tee 3: 345

Tee 4: 321

Tee 5: 316

16th Hole

Par 4 · 475

Pro’s Tip:
A tee shot near the lake on this long cape hole offers better access to the green. A menacing bunker along the right side of the green, hides the putting surface.

Tee 1: 475

Tee 2: 447

Tee 3: 402

Tee 4: 374

Tee 5: 366

17th Hole

Par 3 · 154

Pro’s Tip:
The longest par 4 at Ironwood is followed by the shortest par 3. The hole demands 154 yards of precision. The left pin position is protected by a large bunker. A lone pot bunker awaits shots that go long.

Tee 1: 154

Tee 2: 147

Tee 3: 140

Tee 4: 128

Tee 5: 123

18th Hole

Par 5 · 548

Pro’s Tip:
This 548 yard par 5 provides an exciting finish to your round. A well-placed drive avoiding the bunker complex on the left will set up an interesting second shot. A lay-up to the right must keep way from a large fairway bunker. Going for the green will require a carry of a lake which wraps around the green in the front, left, and back.

Tee 1: 548

Tee 2: 523

Tee 3: 517

Tee 4: 480

Tee 5: 425

"Beautiful course! Everything (including the tee boxes!) was in immaculate shape. Perfectly placed bunkers, ravines, and water provide an interesting challenge."
