  • A Vision in the Lowcountry - From the beginning, The Golf Club at Indigo Run was built on a bold idea: to combine championship golf, thoughtful design, and a true sense of community in the heart of Hilton Head. Created by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II, the club represents a rare father and son collaboration that celebrates both excellence and the natural beauty of the Lowcountry.

The club offers tennis and pickleball courts, a modern fitness center, inviting pool spaces, and a clubhouse that brings Members together. Our Beginning

The course opens in 1995, designed by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II in their first father and son collaboration. In 1996, the club’s course is named one of the nation’s top 10 new private courses by Golf Digest.

Legacy and Evolution

The Golf Club at Indigo Run remains a Hilton Head institution, a private, gated club set within the natural beauty of Hilton Head’s Lowcountry. The clubhouse features Scottish inspired design with leather furniture, rich wood, and tartan accents, providing a warm and inviting space for members and guests.

Modern Reinvestment

The club engages in a multimillion dollar reinvestment project. Planned upgrades include renovation of the greens to maintain their original character, enhancements to the clubhouse and dining areas with Lowcountry inspired design, modernization of the fitness center with new equipment, and improvements to tennis and pickleball facilities.
