About Ian
Since Ian started working at the City Club of Washington in September 1993, he has had the pleasure of getting to know many Members and Associate Members. After graduating from the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), he worked for several years in Food and Beverage for Marriott International before discovering his affinity for providing diligent, personalized service in a private club setting. He has a keen interest in food and wine and always hopes that our club’s Wine Society reflects his enthusiasm for sharing fun, insightful and uncomplicated wine knowledge with others. He encourages everyone to attend our Wine Society events. He really enjoys commuting on his bicycle to and from the Club in all sorts of weather conditions. And, although he considers himself a Washingtonian, he still reminisces fondly about his small hometown of Cinnaminson, New Jersey.Email Ian at ian.macdonald@clubcorp.com
