Site-Building Process  

There are a variety of tasks involved with building a new club site. The list below outlines some of the key steps you will want to consider as you build your site out. 

 

  1. Locate and download images and other assets 
  2. Optimize images & upload them into Episerver 
  3. Configure global settings (navigation, footer, etc)
  4. Select color scheme, font stack, and site mode 
  5. Create / organize pages 
  6. Create shared componentry that will be used throughout the site (ie. footer stacks, ctas, etc.) 
  7. Build each page 
    1. Map out the content 
    2. Create a wireframe or plan out which components you will use 
    3. Build components (remember to start with the smallest element and work your way up) 
    4. Lay components out onto the page 
    5. Select images to use for each component 
    6. Select colors to use for each component 
    7. Review 
    8. Publish 
  8. Set up other page types: 
    1. Golf course details pages 
    2. Menu pages 
    3. News & news articles 
    4. Events calendar 
    5. Our team 
  9. Review and publish
