Value Items

Value items are used in several places on the site to add configuration options to drop-downs. There are two types of value items: those with icons, and those with simple text display values. Value items with icons are used for amenities, event types, and menu icons, as all of these values require the use of an icon. The icon MUST be an SVG file. 

 

An important thing to note: the Value field on any Value Item serves as an ID for that item and SHOULD NEVER BE CHANGED. Changing this value will BREAK the connection to the places the value is used. It is OK to update the Display Text value, however.

 

These can all be added using the corresponding section of the Global Settings Page. Adding a value item to any of these locations will add the option to the place(s) those configuration values are available. Examples include:

• Adding an amenity type for use in the Club Search Data tab
• Adding an event type for use in the Club Search Data tab
• Adding a menu icon type for addition to a menu item
• Adding a Fairway Type for selection on the Golf Details block
• Adding a Greens Type for selection on the Golf Details block
• Adding a Roughs Type for selection on the Golf Details block
• Adding a Club Tier for Benefits Data
• Adding a Community type for Benefits Data
• Adding an Alliance Club Category type for Benefits Data
